Communicational Ideas

*> Communicate with others thoughtfully, never absentmindedly. Do things that are uplifting; don't merely pass the time.
For time is an inheritance: However little or much has been allotted to you, spend it wisely, or it will be frittered away.

*> Be silent at your center. Excessive speech is anesthetizing. Instead of thinking up ideas to communicate to others, think up ideas to communicate to your own higher self.

*> Accommodate your ideas to the good suggestions of others. What does the source of an idea really matter? The more closely the idea approaches to the truth, the less credit anyone ought to claim for it. For where we human beings intrude on the process, usually , is in our mistakes.

Plan your trip to AGRA

Location : North India Adventur Agra
Trip : 16 days Trip
3 days Camel riding
4 days cycle touring
8 nights hotels

* Combining camel riding through Rajasthan and cycling village roads to AGRA.

There is no better way to appreciate the diversity of life in village india than by cycling and camel riding. we combine this with visits to the famous palaces and forts of delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Agra on our journey through rajasthan.

From Delhi we take an over night train to bikaner on the edge of the rajasthan desert. Our camel ride takes us through rarely - visited villages and forts that reflect their rich culture and history. Our caravan includes a full complement of musicians and crew to ensure each over night camp is a memorable one. After 3 days in the saddle we reach the walled city of jaisalmaer before continue via jodhpur and the imposing meheran fort to the ' pink city' of Jaipur.

In Jaipur we visit the city palace, the palace of the winds and the jantar mahal , and ride atop elephants to the amber fort before commencing our cycle ride to Agra and the tajmahal . As we cycle the country roads we re-adjust our pace to that of the buffalo cart and meet the village elders who are keen to discover the purpose of our journey.

If you haven't riden a camel before be assured no prior experience is necessary. If you haven't cycled since your school days, dont worry. The roads are flat, the days not unduly streneous and we provide a backup vehicle for your convienience.

Faith in the self

The Whole world today is suffering from disorder and violence because people have lost Aathma-Vishvaasa (Faith in the Self). They are fostering attachment to the body and ignoring the spirit. This is incorrect. Whatever you do, deem it as God's work. This can be applied to every ordinary act in daily life, whether it is sweeping the floor, cooking or cutting vegetables. Every one of these acts can be turned into a spiritual exercise by the spirit in which you do it. Install the Divine in your hearts and carry on your duties with devotion and dedication.

How should be our devotion towards GOD.

Devotion to God is not to be calculated on the basis of the institutions one has started or helped, the temples one has built or renovated, the donations one has given away, nor does it depend on the number of times one has written the Name of the Lord or on the time and energy one has spent in the worship of the Lord. These are not vital at all, no, not even secondary. Devotion is Divine Love, unsullied by any tinge of desire for the benefit that flows from it, or the fruit or consequence of that love. It is love that knows no particular reason for its manifestation. It is of the nature of the love of the soul for the Oversoul; the river for the sea; the creeper for the tree, the star for the sky, the spring for the cliff down which it flows. It is sweet, in bad times as well as good. It is an unchanging attitude, a desirable bent of the mind, standing steady through joy and grief.

Devotion is no sign of weakness; it is a sign of courage, of wisdom, of discrimination; it alone can give soukhyam and shaanthi (happiness and peace). Every one has one day or other to fall in line with you, for every one is terribly anxious to get these two. They try, in their ignorance or excitement, various other remedies, but this remedy alone can cure them.

Make four resolutions about your life hereafter:

(1) Purity: Desist from wicked thoughts, bad habits, low activities that weaken your self-respect.

(2) Service: Serve others, for they are the reflections of the same entity of which you are yourself another reflection. No one of you has any authenticity, except with reference to the One Original.

(3) Mutuality: Feel always kinship with all creation. See the same current flowing through all the objects in the Universe.

(4) Truth: Do not deceive yourself or others, by distorting your experience.

10 Tips to become Successful

1) If in doubt - ask a question.
Don't be afraid to question things. Don't be afraid to offer a question even though other people in your peer group have not

questioned before.

2) Place experience over authority.
If one reflects upon what the authority figure is conveying to you, does it pan out with your real life experience? For

example, if someone tells you that all red heads are moody - have you experienced this in your life?

3) Understand People.
Does the person communicating with you have an agenda that might be influencing what they are telling you? What is

motivating this person? Why do you think they think this way?

4) Don't feel you have to follow the crowd.
Remember the old adage - if Johnny put his hand in the fire does that mean you have to do that too?

5) Trust your feelings.
Trusting your "gut instinct" about something is often an over looked trait. If something does not feel right to you there is

probably something wrong (or at least something seriously flawed) with what you are being told.

6) Remain calm.
Remaining calm and collected will help you remain objective and help you to think clearly. If you get caught up in a heated

debated and loose your cool, your capacity for rational thinking is diminished.

7) Gather the facts.
Like any good thinker would do - gather all the facts before making a judgment. Ask yourself do you have all the facts? Are

there gaps in your knowledge that is keeping me from the truth or from the solution to a problem?

8) Look at Things from Different Perspectives.
If you are trying to solve a problem - try coming at it in a different way. If one way hasn’t worked for you - try a different

one! Try and see ideas or concepts from different perspectives. For example, would someone growing up in Japan think the

same way about a subject as someone from Ireland?

9) Cultivate Empathy.
It is easier to understand why people think the way they do if you understand their situation. If I said "All red heads are

moody and I don't want anything to do with them!" - there could be a reason for me to be saying this. Maybe I was bullied by

a red head in school for example. Empathizing with people helps you understand that you may have a different opinion

about something but that’s OK!

10) Be Brave.
It takes courage to stand up and say “I don't agree with you." Be kind to yourself, be patient and don't give up. If you want

to learn how to think more independently -it does take time.

Oh and before I go - don't forget to question everything I have just told you. :)

Good luck!
